flowers and us

the hubby has been busy. I blew my birthday cake at 6am today since he need to work and fell back to sleep rather shortly (it's weekend afterall). He has been sweet.. we went to a stand up comedy at esplanade and he gave me roses 1 week prior to my birthday. 

Roses. I always thought they die fast in Singapore climate. I never have roses that last more then 3-5 days. I do not know if the recent roses are of a good stock or I have become better at tending to the roses, my roses are lasting longer then i thought they should.  Day 7, they are still blossoming with no fertiliser involve. 

thank you hubby, for making me believe that roses can last longer then my expectation.

thank you for so daringly giving me the first bouquet of roses then.. along with fertiliser and a vase. :)

on this day, i only hope work will not kill us both and we have more time for ourselves.
