dad: better mop the house now else when the quality controller (mum) returns, you will all be in trouble.

orhz (with her mop after mopping some areas, sweeping the whole house and feeling exhausted) : plots of land up for sale. Who want to buy which land?

sis1 : I only want to clean the living room area. Ask the other sis to clean the dining area. Oh. have you sweep all the floor yet?

orhz: i dont care how you mop the floor but you better mop your own room. you define your own cleanliness of your room.

sis will then take the mop and pretend she is writting some big calligraphy on the floor with the mop. In less then 2 minutes, her room is 'cleaned'.

orhz: orhhhh, clean properly else when mom returns, she will nag. I dont want to hear her nagging.

sis will then take the mop and mop the 'CBD' area of the house (where mom will walk pass) and all is done too quickly again. the 'streets' and 'avenues' are all neglected.

orhz: I mopped half the house already. please continue.

sis: will do later.

the later never come and half the house will be left unmopped.

All these were accumulated from orhz's experience with her sisters. She has resigned to her fate that she is living with her sisters who have different definition of 'cleanliness" in the house. She is glad that her mom has lower her expectations on cleanliness though mom still get onto orhz's nerves at times. Orhz chooses to ignore now as long as she did her parts in maintaining some cleanliness of the house. She will not take up the role of ensuring the whole house is clean since 2 years ago unless she is in a good mood. For clarification, Orhz is not a neat freak but she like to live in a clean house prefably as spacious as possible and not clumped with sis's clothes/ sis's shoes/ sis's books/sis's bags/mom's newspaper/dad's books.

orhz realised all this nagging on basic cleanliness has expanded to her school whereby she will ask her kids to clean the classroom when it get way too dirty with bottles and paper aeroplanes.
