the land - Johor (9 june 07)
that conversation perks me up after having to wake up and report to school at 6:15 am for this johor trip. i look young..like my students.. wahaha

at the Gelang patah, the breakfast point where we have a quick breakie after clearing the custom. We saw this.. their famous Ramly burgers.
Do you have a dear? want a "dear burger"? haha... can't accept eating rabbit meat also. =====================================
At the organic farm... after 2 hours of ride. The sun was burning hot onto the land. The air was still.. the kids were grumblings over the weather....Flies were flying around, the kids got around by attempting to kill as many flies as possible. when u see a gal dressed like she is going shopping in Orchard rolling up her worksheets and trying to kill flies. it is really a hilarious sight. that's our kids.

You realised also... the kids really hate organic food. Some didn't eat the lunch prepared for them. The MacDonald and KFC kids. sighz

the tour around the farm under the hot weather. He is the first one to take up his brolly to shelter himself. I really had to laugh. So not him.
He was made the translator as the farmer couldn't speak good english but converse well in Mandarin and Malay... He... the translator .. translate some rubbish but brighten up my sunny day nevertheless.
He (the hopeless translator): The farmer said we farm the fish till they GLOW for 3 months before people buy it from the market.

That's pumpkin... the stalk of flower will become bitter gourd. Long bean. dragon fruits stalk. black rice and finally.. lady's finger.
Kids were grumbling that walking around the field under the hot weather is worse then detention in the school.. hahah... tell you something about my school detention, ya?
i concluded these students cannot be farmers. I'm sure my buffaloes will die too. Kids are too shelthered these days.
the trips just get better. :)
